ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. Find your ideas, reference photos and desired style of tattoo you would like.

2. Contact me either by email or instagram found in the contact section and let me know your ideas, placement on body, rough sizing, and any reference photos you may have. 

3. We will then have an online consultation and from there I will be able to book a date in, please come deposit ready for bookings.

4. I will then take your ideas and inspo photos to create a final design which will be sent over before your appointment.

5. Come to your appointment, preparation steps can be found below. 

1. Good nights sleep - Sufficient sleep improves your pain tolerance and allows your body to function optimally during the treatment.

2. Shower and cleanse - Start your day with a thorough shower and cleansing, exfoliate the area you will be getting tattooed.

3. Moisturise and Hydrate - Drinking water and moisturising your skin allows an easier tattoo experience and improves the healing process.

4. Fresh Clothing - Wear clean and comfortable clothing to your appointment. Choose something that allows easy access to the tattooed area.

5. Plan your journey - Leave enough time to travel to your appointment and plan your route to avoid any stress.

6. Bring sugary snacks - Your immune system runs off energy, which helps with the pain tolerance for your tattoo treatment, especially for longer sessions.

7. Entertainment - Tattoos can take a while, bring you headphones and download your favourite film or show to keep you occupied.

The healing process is the most important step. 

Instructions will be given at your appointment, to ensure your tattoo heals optimally follow these instructions closely and any questions don't hesitate to ask your artist.

How painful is a tattoo?

Getting a tattoo can involve some minimal pain, it is never as bad as you expect. However it all depends on your personal pain tolerance, how long your tattoo session is, and area being tattooed.

Do you do cover ups?

I generally don't offer cover ups, however exceptions can be made depending on size and style of the tattoo you are wanting covered.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Tattoo prices can vary greatly depending on size, detail and complexity. At INK BY PS there is no need to worry as your set price will be given before your appointment, rather than charging hourly and not knowing how much you'll need to pay at the end.

Can I use numbing cream?

Yes, you can use numbing cream, however please consult with your artist first as they will give you a recommendation of which one to use and may offer it to you at your appointment.

Can I bring a friend?

Please come to your appointments alone, unless you are both getting tattooed, or consult with your artist first if you need someone to come with you.

Is there any areas/tattoos you refuse to do?

I don't offer inner lip tattoos, private area tattoos, or any hateful/offensive tattoos.

Face tattoos can be discussed subject to how many tattoos you already have and size.
